"Fantastic restaurant downstairs"

Nicely decorated room. Very good breakfast (not included but freshly made and with original products). Dinner was also great! They made a mistake with the room, but it was very good solved. Friendly owner. Nice to sit in the beer garden. There are venues sometimes. Such concerts are a bonus but you will here the music in the room.

Lot of noise from outside. It is a listed building and the owner is not allowed to use modern glazing. Maybe it might be a good idea to place extra windows inside (we saw at the listed building of The Angel Hotel in Halesworth that this helps). The young staff has to be trained a bit more.

"Awful....."

Room was clean and tidy. Towels were lovely.

The live band on the Friday night! No mention when we booked, arrived or a notice! It was like the band was actually in our bedroom ... so loud! We were getting up the next morning at 430 to complete a 26 mile trek for charity. We would never have stayed there if we had know about the band!!!!! We complained but have not heard back. Would never stay here again......

Great location, great pub, great staff who were really friendly and chatty!

Very minor issues - would’ve liked bathroom sink to be bigger and for there to be coat/towel hooks on back of bathroom door
