The White Horse Hotel

Enjoyed my stay at the Whitehorse hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It would’ve been nice to have a mirror in my room, otherwise the room was satisfactory. I do think it would be good if the price of a breakfast was included in the overall price rather than having to pay separately.I also think that overall it is a little bit on the expensive side, but I understand they have to make a living!

Rooms all look very nice. We have stayed here twice and both trips we felt our sleep in Leiston was best of the week.

More vegan options in breakfast would be nice, like vegan sausage.

Everything to like. Friendly, cheerful staff. Instructions given on arrival for location of room, meal times, and music in the bar (which unable to hear from my bedroom). Delicious dinner and breakfast. Bedroom clean and comfortable with ensuite. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Hotel. My wife and I have been to many hotels across the country, the White Horse, Leiston has got to be one of the best we have stayed in. The hotel room was perfect, clean and very inviting. The staff? Couldn't have been more polite and helpful. 10/10.

Nothing to dislike.

The room was quite spacious as was the ensuite. I found the bed very comfortable and water pressure in the shower was noticeably above average for rural hotels and B&Bs. Food in the restaurant was very good with separate dining areas away from the main bar. Really good breakfast facilities and choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly who made secure lockable arrangements for my cycle overnight as I was on a cycle tour tour around Suffolk.

The only reason I gave 8 rather 10 out of 10 was for the space restriction in the shower over the bath arrangement which was quite cramped. A simple shelf in the shower area would assist with soap / gel placement etc. But that said the water head pressure was really good. The windows overlooking the road are not double glazed which might inconvenience light sleepers, but the area goes very quiet after 11.00pm.

There is quite simply nothing not to like about this property. We had a wonderful weekend here. The room was spacious, and spotlessly clean, and the bed super comfy. The breakfast was a real stand-out. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. It was our first visit to the area - don't know why we left it so long!

Excellent staff. Great breakfast menu. Very good food.
