The hotel has a fun OSU vibe with related memorabilia and decor. The property is in the Short North area with many restaurants and shops nearby.

While in the lobby, we had two issues with people who were neither guests nor employees. I would have felt more comfortable in this hotel if access to the elevator and upper floors had required a key card.

At check-out, I was told that I would receive an invoice by email. It was promised but never arrived. For the past three weeks, I’ve been trying to contact the hotel through the Booking.com contact form, the Booking customer service, and directly via email. Unfortunately, no one has responded. Where is the service when you actually need it? Why can’t a returning guest be treated fairly and courteously, even after payment has already been made? Very disappointing experience in terms of customer service.

The rooms were very small. Very little room to walk around. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean.

Probably the most unprofessional front desk staff I have ever encountered. Even (or especially) the managers. Their inability to resolve even simple issues (or to even care) is astounding. Everyone is dressed in street clothes and their demeanor matches their appearance. Other issues with the hotel include poorly functioning elevators, exorbitant "valet" parking (you actually park yourself rather than someone taking your car to another location) with a "gotcha" since the prices are not visably advertised or communicated, no laundry/drycleaning service available (or at least no information sheet in the closet and none available upon request at the front desk). There is also no business center and no hotel bar. On the bright side, the design of the rooms is pretty cool. But all the negatives combined make it a place I would never stay at again.
