Holiday Inn Express Tuscola by IHG

I recently traveled out of town to catch the Illinois football game and stayed this hotel. Hotel is very clean. We arrived a bit late, after 9:30, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to enjoy our meal without any hassle, which I greatly appreciated. The only downside I noticed was the size of the gym—it was quite tiny and could use some expansion or additional equipment. However, the comfort of the beds made up for it. I had a fantastic night’s sleep, which is always a plus.

Very clean and comfortable room. The staff are friendly and it’s a safe area. This price is very reasonable.

Great hotel for traveling.

We had a great stay and beds were comfortable.

We stayed here during the annual Cornbroom Festival in Arcola where we are a vendor. Front desk staff was all amazing, very helpful and nice. Let us drop some things off to store early then let us check in about 30 minutes early. Housekeeping the first day was a little slim. Got towels but that was it. No trash taken out or beds made. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast is good but same everyday. Would be nice to change it up a little. They ran out of milk, yogurt, etc during our visit and it was never restocked. It is pet friendly but I didn't remember the fee being $50 per night, I thought it was a flat fee but may be wrong. Our dog was not near as messy or noisy as the soccer team that stayed the first night and we could not sleep. We also reserved for a suite but we had a regular king room. Anyway, we will stay again.

Too close to the highway; lots of traffic noise. Staff was not friendly. Pancake maker was not functioning.

It's very clean and good breakfast foods.

It's the only place to stay that has a good breakfast in the area. They people were friendly.
