Out of service elevator. Had to lug bags via stairs to 3rd floor. Sucked!

Front desk Skylar was rude to me. I was eating breakfast and she told me not to be a pig at the buffet bar that she still needed her protein to tolerate working with the control freak GM. She said the eggs give her what she needs to tolerate the devil manager.

I got charged twice for the room, once by booking and once by the hotel

HORRIBLE. On the second night of our stay, the power went out at about 11:30pm. After waiting 45 minutes, we went to the front desk to see what was going on and no one could give us answers. The front desk said “we don’t know what’s going on, the power could come back in 30 minutes or 2 hours...” I sleep with a medical device that needs to be plugged into electricity so this was a huge concern for me and I couldn’t risk waiting. It could’ve been 5 hours. After another 30 minutes with no answers, me and my sister decided to pack up and go down the street to another hotel that had electricity. The front desk agent said that I would not be charged for this night, given that we didn’t even STAY there and had to pack up and move in the middle of the night in the dark. After requesting a refund which I think is pretty reasonable given the circumstances, I was shocked to hear that my request was denied for the night that I did not stay there, again as I have a medical device that needs to be plugged in and I couldn’t do that. I called the hotel today and the front desk girl told me that “she has spoken to the GM and decided to not refund me” and when I asked if the GM could give me a call, she said “she doesn’t do that” (LOL) and then proceeded to tell me that since I didn’t disclose what medical device I have, that she can’t prove if it was life or death… Who would lie about a medical device? This dirty hotel is a joke.

TV didn't work. Air didn't work. Refrigerator didn't work. Door lock didn't work. Had to change room.

Front desk frequently unattended.

The hotel staff was extremely nice and polite. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was hot, filling and had many selections.
