Ancient Huế Garden Houses

The room size was good, comfortable and clean. The pools are a nice size and did not get really busy during our stay.

The quality of the breakfast ingredients and the merge offering at the buffet. The cooked items were not much better, they offered mushrooms, this was just a slice of mushroom stork ! Sausage, this was half a frankfurter ! Half really ? The Ancient house has two restaurants one allegedly a French restaurant, but the chefs are obviously not able to make French quality pastries as the offering at breakfast is poor, bought in cheap commercial packet pastries .

Very excited to visit this hotel. Ancient charm for sure, tucked away in a side street within walking distance to the river (where you can swim -- and lots of AM activities). The hotel itself has two themes, Ancient Hue and French influence. We stayed in the traditional rooms -- beautiful setting, lovely bathtub, desk, mosquito netting, slippers, bathrobe, free water, coffee and tea etc. Bed was comfortable. Hotel itself has two restaurants and a bar, cambodian food in one and french in the other. For dinner we went to the French one, very good chef in the house... setting was a bit odd, but it was delicious if somewhat pricey. Breakfast was in the traditional part -- with a great selection (not buffet). Pool also beautiful. Service A+.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à Hué et cet hôtel a fortement participé à notre satisfaction. Le personnel était vraiment au petit soin, le petit déjeuner très copieux avec la possibilité de commander différents plats en illimités. La chambre soignée et belle décoration. 2 piscines et 2 restaurants + bar à disposition, de quoi satisfaire tout le monde. Nous avons également testé le spa pendant 90 min que nous recommandons également, un vrai moment de détente. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

An oasis of calm and tranquility. The rooms are like private villas, the communal spaces are pristine. The gardens are lush and fragrant and as much a part of the design as the buildings. It’s beautiful. The staff have been so helpful and lovely. This places is a gem.

Incredible garden and grounds, room was comfy and clean and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly.

We had dinner there and it was fairly disappointing, it seemed like they focused more on presentation than meal quality and the food was very overpriced for what it was.

The hotel is absolutely outstanding, I'm sure it's the best hotel in Hue. The rooms are even more beautiful than the photos show, the whole atmosphere authentic and warm. The staff totally amazing. The main restaurant is like a film setting with authentic furniture and an excellent menu. Surprisingly the French restaurant is also very good and a nice place to be.
