We really appreciated being able to lock up our bikes inside the function room. And the man who checked us in was super friendly.

Having been charged twice for the same two nights last December and waited nearly six months for £113 to be repaid to my bank account, which the management promised to attend to before we had left, I made a direct complaint to Marston's head office which, after nearly six months of waiting, brought about an immediate response. It was the hotel manager who first pointed the mistake out to me, but then once we had left, he did nothing about. I am now pleased to be able to report that not only did Marstons repay the £113, a full apology followed, together with an ex-gratia payment of £60 in compensation, which certainly retains one's interest in Marston's outlets nationwide, but not in The Savoy Country Inn. It really was 'Soulless', and looking back, it would seem that those in charge were there in mind, but not in body.

Location was good for our reason to stay at Savoy.

No breakfast service until 9:30am. We needed to arrive at our destination nearby by 9:00am. All 4 guests in the 2 rooms we booked went without breakfast for both mornings. Lots of scrap and rubbish all over the site. Unkept grass areas overgrown. Poor quality rooms. Tiny bathroom.

We pop in here for food regulary when we're down from Doncaster visiting family in Carmarthen. Always a welcoming athosphere, friendly staff and great pub grub. Never stayed overnight but would highly recommend this place for food & drinks. Thanks again guys/gals.

Stayed here in peak July to avoid paying Tenby hotel prices. Room clean and barman was friendly who we obtained key from. I've marked it down as the road is very busy and that noise transfers straight to the room and it was also an absolute sweat fest with no aircon in the room, just a small fan. Room was clean and average sized. Bathroom quite cramped and a taller person may struggle in the shower (I'm only 6ft and was difficult). That said, would stay again in cooler weather. Paid around £55, so less than half of what a hotel in Tenby would cost. Car park is huge, so no threat of not getting a space, there were even motorhomes in there when we stayed.
