"Great food and service (Ally & Alice)"

My husband and I had a delicious meal at the Savoy County Inn on 12 April as part of a weekend away for my birthday. Ally and Alice gave us exceptional service and the way they treated our greyhound made our evening. Thank you!

"Good but not great. There's now more competition in the area (Fox and Wild Boar) and I'm trying all"

I've stayed there before a few times.. usually paying £55-60 .. The price is now £69 but no additional service (NB breakfast is not available until 09.30). I know business costs have risen.. but a 20-25% increase with no additional service is far too much.

shower room is very tight. Television on the wall means walking past the bed is difficult (room 7)

they did not seam to like booking.com customers refused to check us in with out debit card & they had 20% discount of food ordered a meal and told discount is not if you booked with booking.com

"Exceptional"

Great location for our trip down to Pendine Sands for BABS' outing!Massive comfy bed, good shower and super friendly lovely staff! Thanks for a really enjoyable stay.

There was road noise, but it's on a very popular road, so not a lot you can do about it, didn't spoil our stay at all.

Gezellige pubsfeer, sfeervolle en schone kamer, heel vriendelijk personeel. Kortom heel knus verblijf!

Al vrij vroeg in de (maandag)ochtend werd de drank geleverd, dat maakte ons wakker. Geen probleem verder maar dat was beetje jammer.

Dinner was excellent value and very tasty - I had the Monday night pie and a pint The bed was comfortable and linen was clean and crisp.

Found bathroom to be a little cramped and shower tricky to set temperature

Really nice atmosphere, chicken wings with sweet potato fries were delicious and funky shirted barman gave great sex advice too! Highly recommend.

"Clean but worn"

The room decor and furniture was old and worn but clean and everything worked . Breakfast was good value.

Breakfast doesn't even start until 9.30am, be aware if booking the breakfast! The bed was uncomfortable and springy. The charge for taking a pet is £15 per night and not per stay.

I had a warm welcome from excellent staff. The supper was delicious.

Everything in the room was clean and tidy. Several curtain hooks were missing on curtain so the light coming from the kitchen below was made more significant making it difficult to get to sleep and then stay asleep.
