Mooreland Garden Inn

An excellent experience. Dawn was wonderful and most kind to us, ensuring that every detail of our visit was pleasant, and a complimentary upgrade was provided given space. Breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared, with a wide variety of options sure to suit any palette. The amenities offered were extensive, including snacks, wine, and other luxuries to make the stay special and delightful. Truly a one of a kind bed and breakfast experience. Will certainly be back and strongly encourage all who visit Carlisle to make this a destination worth visiting!

We had a wonderful stay at the Mooreland Garden inn while visiting family in Carlisle Having stayed at many inns and B&Bs over the years in Maine and New England we would say that our stay at Mooreland ranks near top of our inn experiences Room was comfortable and with a lovely garden view Breakfast was great,tasty and presented beautifully Dawn and Bruce were perfect hosts and went the extra mile to help us celebrate our granddaughter’s birthday with a special breakfast When we are in Carlisle this is where we will stay Thank You Dawn and Bruce for a lovely stay!!

Dawn is a fantastic host. She is very thoughtful and goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable. The breakfast was inventive and delicious and Dawn provided many drinks and snacks. The B&B was clean and quiet and located very near Dickinson College.

Dawn and Bruce are wonderful hosts and the house was awesome! Very welcoming, cozy and comfortable. Our room was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the homemade granola was really good! Highly recommend and will stay there again in the near future!!!!

This B&B was charming, clean and with all the amenities we could have possibly asked for! Dawn and Bruce were extremely communicative and accommodating. Fantastic location within walking distance to Carlisle center. Amazing!! The hosts were accommodating, professional and thoughtful! Our stay was personalized in every way. This was one of our best stays!

We loved our stay at the Mooreland Inn! Our room had everything we needed, the breakfast was amazing and the location was perfect! Once we parked, we were able to walk to the Dickinson campus, the soccer field and to all of the downtown restaurants. Dawn even invited our son to breakfast and sent him home with his own bag of granola!

Not a single detail missed - from the moment you walk in, you feel welcome by Dawn and the little things she does to make your stay feel special are plentiful! Her breakfasts are to die for - same with her cookies. I could not imagine staying anywhere else!

Clean, comfortable, charming, excellent breakfast. Dawn and Bruce are friendly attentive hosts. Also excellent for walking to enjoy the historic downtown. I've been staying there annually since 2019 and I look forward to my stay again in 2025.

Dawn and Bruce are gracious hosts. My daughter and I had a luxurious stay. Dawn and Bruce both enjoy hosting and sharing wonderful breakfast recipes, fresh flowers from the garden and every evening home made cookies. Upon our departure Dawn gifted us their home made granola for our travels. Delicious!

My daughter and I stayed here for one night when there was an issue with our air bnb. It was a last minute booking and Dawn got our room ready in very little time with lots of lovely personal details. The room was beautifully furnished, spacious and comfortable and Dawn goes above and beyond to ensure her guests are comfortable with tea, coffee, wine, soft drinks and snacks (including delicious home baked cookies) available to help yourself. In the evening she showed us the amazing evening primroses in the garden open as the sun set then we had a fantastic night’s sleep on the huge comfortable bed. Dawn takes breakfast orders the evening before and allows guests to choose what they would like from an extensive breakfast menu and when they would like it. She took into account my dairy intolerance and made a delicious dairy free breakfast parfait and then scrambled eggs with vegetables and salad freshly picked from her garden. If I am ever back in Carlisle again this would be my first choice of accommodation!
