It is the perfect, secret retreat ...and yet so close to Cardiff. Peaceful, green with a lake brimming with insects, fish and birds. Accommodation first class Service from welcome..breakfast ...departure excellent Overall a superb experience. Will return

Very beautiful place, quite distant but still close enough to the city centre (around 20 min driving)

The breakfast could be served outside on a terrace as well, we were asked to come inside only to make the order

Beautiful location. Room was clean. Fan in the wardrobe. Nice balcony

Room was advertised on booking.com as large double bed however was 2 singles pushed together with single quilts on each. Not a problem but not as described on booking.com

"Canada lodge"

Fantastic location, lovely lodge and really appreciated the basic kitchen bits. Good breakfast too!

Think it was a security light but there was a green light in the living room that was so bright my daughter struggled to sleep on the sofa bed as it was so bright. Few things were broken, needed a bit of tlc but nothing that impacted our stay.

Beautiful setting. We did have a mouse visitor in the night and the shower was cold. Unfortunately there was no-one to report this to when we checked out.
