apartment conditions is not so good, probably needs slight renovation. strange check in, where you need to call someone via phone. procedure is quite easy and can be easily described by words without need in a call.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy check-in. The room itself (including a private bathroom) was very clean. There weren't many other guests in the accomodation.

The shared bathroom was next to our room and it was very noisy. The shared kitchen could be cleaned better and better equipped.

Cozy place to stay with the countryside feel. Easy check and everything you might need is inside, including kitchen.

Comfy beds, quiet location, late check-out.

No instructions for key collection at all, no messages, no emails.... When we arrived there was no one there, we found another guest leaving and we asked him how to collect the key. He told us he had found the key box open with 2 keys inside, and since both keys opened the door of his room he had taken both of them. He gave us the telephone number of the person in charge and when we called she said the keys were 1 for each customer. We checked and it turned out that the every key opens all door rooms in the house, so no safety or privacy guaranteed at all!!!! Also, there was only one bathroom in the house for all the rooms (5), lots of traffic there!!!

Very big room, with a very nice private bathroom. We were there only for a night but is a big structure with all the comforts: like a big parking space and a well equiped shared kitchen.

The area is just incredible - it is popular but in no way crowded, in the heart of endless pine woods, close to world class beaches. A gorgeous combination of outstanding natural beauty and enough civilisation to get by on. There is a loose network of little hamlets and vacation spots strewn across nature reserves. Alfarim has some restaurants, cafes, grocery shops etc. The house and the staff offer a decent price-quality ratio, we had a good suite for an affordable rate (booked three months in advance). In case you haven't got a car, you depend on the regional bus network, which is all right. Sesimbra is the hub connecting you to Lisbon and Setubal, the cape Espichel and other destinations. Our tip - hike the sandy trails in the area in the shadow of the pines, spend endless hours on the breath-taking beaches, enjoy fresh seafood meals in the old part of Sesimbra, visit the nearby moorish castle. This was a unique rural beach vacation.

No particular issues to report, just beware the limitations in case you've got to rely on the bus for transportation. But the relative seclusion of the place is an essential part of its appeal, practically an asset.

Very nice hotel with quality shared facilities. The breakfast is very basic - but you have to pay much more for breakfast at most other hotels - so good for the money.
