Residence Inn by Marriott Branson

Showed up at 10pm to check in and was told my reservation was canceled because it was over booked. The people at the front desk were helpful finding another place to stay.

Decent place. Walls are a little thin but not too bad. The toilet in our room probably could use a new flapper also. Overall was a good stay for 1 night. They were able to give me a late checkout also which was much appreciated to not have to rush in the morning.

Area seemed safe.

The shower was tiny, like something you would expect in a camper or RV. The sofa had ground in food on it and food under the sofa and under the dishwasher. I took the cushions off the sofa and cleaned out the old food, hair Barrett, etc.

This place is not good, the sleeper sofa was dirty and gross, it needs to be replaced. You shouldn’t advertise the sleeper sofa , it is unusable, we had to use an air mattress for our kids. The dishwasher was broken. This place was not worth the price we paid. We will not stay here again. We should get part of our money back.

Location

Beds were not comfortable. After the first day, elevator floor was dirty with what looked like dog paw prints.

Its a great layout and location. However one of the remotes did not work, water on the floor in the bathroom, and ceiling in bathroom is leaking. We talked with the front desk and they will address it.

Everyone is so nice at this family friendly hotel. All staff truly practiced southern hospitality from the front desk to the service staff getting the breakfast meal ready each morning. What we really appreciated was the gluten free options available at the breakfast buffet. Since we travel with this allergy, it can sometimes be challenging to find things to eat. Not here!

Shower leaked out onto floor - bad design.

The room was adequate and clean. The mattress on the pull out sofa was not good. We could feel the springs. Also, we have stayed at MANY Marriotts and could not believe that this one did not have any recycling bins. Now the positives and they far outweigh those 2 things: . Friendly staff ever!!! Everyone there was great . Great breakfasts and it is not the same every day. Bonnie was so friendly and does a great job. The bounty of condiments for the oatmeal was incredible. Best orange juice ever. . What a great perk to have afternoon cookies!!!! And they are great! And loved the infused water with fresh fruit. . One of the quietest hotels I have ever stayed at. Great job Residence Inn!! We enjoyed our stay immensely!
