Residence Inn by Marriott Branson

If I could rate this as zero stars, I would. The lift was broken and no one available to help us drag our luggage up to the 2nd floor. The whole hotel smells of dogs, if you accept animals, then you need to improve your cleaning significantly to ensure the smell of animals is not spreading throughout the hotel. The toilets in our room were both broken, no maintenance or management available to help or fix it that afternoon/evening, I see from previous reviews on TA that this is an ongoing issue. Expected us to just get on with it until the morning…,I’d love to know how we were expected to spend the night without working facilities!!! This hotel is dirty, old and tired, in desperate need of renovation, staff are inexperienced and left without a manager to take control when issues occur. Definitely not up to the usual Marriott standards, they can do much better but they need to spend some money bringing this one up to the normal standards, for a popular tourist town, this is a poor hotel. The Marriott Fairfield inn Branson is much better, we moved there instead the same evening and they welcomed us with the usual Marriott hospitality and standards. To Marriott Head Office, someone needs to get a grip on this hotel and its staff to bring it up to the expected standard….or lower its rating to a 1* and take the Marriott name off the door…..

The location was the only good part. The breakfast was horrible. Milk was sour and the food wasn’t really good

The ac in the hotel was not working in the lobby or halls and barely in the rooms The room smelled Also the elevator was not working and we had to climb three flights the whole time Very bad experience

The room was beautiful and very clean! Breakfast was great and they had a playpen for my 4 month old ! The AC wasn’t working downstairs, but we did not spend time down there aside from breakfast so that wasn’t really an issue! The AC worked in our room and that’s what mattered! Great experience

the room was spacious & lots of amenities .. however the bathroom was tiny .. the lighting around the mirror was very dim & the mattress on the bed was so firm it was very uncomfortable. I slept on the sofa part of the evening because it was more comfortable

We absolutely loved the room, everything. The staff were amazing. Unfortunately, the AC in our room wasn't working & 90°. Hotel was fully booked, so we were forced to find another hotel. Wish the AC was working because the room & staff were amazing. They were very apologetic.

The room was a dungeon, so dark. My biggest problem was, there is a separate bedroom but the bathroom is in the room. My husband naps and goes to bed early and I stay up. But because the bathroom is in the bedroom I couldn't go in there without disturbing him. So that really didn't work for us. The shower was a joke, the handle is deep in the shower so you get wet turning it on, and the shower door didn't close right so water was all over the floor when you get out, really bad design. The location is alright, but there was a lot of roadwork in front to the hotel so that was not ideal. The price is pretty steep. Breakfast is ok.

Our experience checking in was flawless and the staff was very enjoyable! We will definitely use again

Staff was very accommodating but the a/c didn’t work.

Loved thate kitchen and separate bedroom. Also had great hot breakfast in the morning. Sean was awesome to come to our room to hook up our living room TV to internet! Only thing did not like was kids running up and down the hall for hours and people in room directly above loudly walking from one side of room to other after 11 pm until midnight...if trying to exercise, go to exercise facility or walk outside so not to keep others awake, but that was not property, just inconsiderate other people

Nice, quiet and easily accessible to all of Branson. Very comfortable bed.
