Motel 6-Dickson, TN

I booked this room for a friend. It was affordable. This hotel has been a sufficient temporary home for my friend and her interactions with the employees have been good.

I booked this room for a friend. After speaking with the reservations department and the front desk, I was asked to book a room for her via booking.com. My friend had already booked a room and I was extending her stay. The man I spoke with at the front desk was not going to let her stay, for though I had added her to the room, I didn’t add her as the primary guest. He was disrespectful on the phone, I was polite to him. He was unwilling to help to make sure she had a place to stay, even though she had just been evicted with her autistic daughter, because her ex-husband wasn’t paying her child support. He yelled “AHHH” twice and then screamed “AHHHHHHH” like they do in action movies. His scream was so crazed that I called the Dickson police because I wasn’t sure if he would go to my friend’s room and kick her out. The police officer had some comments that included an expletive about the quality of this hotel and said it is a drug hub. Booking.com was able to change the name on the reservation and she was able to stay, but this man was so unprofessional.

Close to restaurant. Close to our home. Pet friendly, so our dogs were warm and safe, didn't hear a lot of noise from other people.

Well, we had an ice storm, so the parking lot was very slick. Maybe try to clean the parking lot.

Cleanliness was the absolute worst I’ve ever seen, mold/mildew in bathroom, rust on any metal in the room, hole in floor covered by vinyl, bird feces outside every door at the light

This is got to be the most nasty motel that I've ever stayed in with the rudeness of the manager. It's quite appalling yet interesting at the same time to think that they can run a facility so nasty. Bird dung all over the air conditioners. They try to charge you $150 smoking deposit even if you booked a room that's non-smoking. Manager refused to address issue but it will get addressed. Do not rent a room here
