Motel 6-Dickson, TN

I desperately tried to ask for a refund because of an extreme circumstance. Several emails and a phone call were made in an attempt to communicate, both from myself and Booking.com. They refused to answer. I won't be back and I don't recommend they get your business. They care more about GREED than their customers, their needs, and circumstances. Never again will they get another red cent from me!

The staff was very friendly and polite. I honestly enjoyed the interaction with the on-site staff. They were honest and helpful. The check in was quick and smooth The bed was comfortable and had no signs of bed bugs. A/C worked well No odd smells. The area around the motel felt OK, not great not bad. Many places to eat very close by. $150.00 deposit for a non smoking room was returned in a timely manner.

The lobby had no public restroom. And I needed one after the drive there. During the check in I was surprised with a $150.00 deposit requirement for the non smoking room I requested. The staff told me there was a deposit for a non-Smoking room but not for smoking rooms The pictures of the room on the websites showed the room with a refrigerator and a microwave, when we checked in there was a sign at the front desk informing of a $1,000.00 fine for cooking in rooms, once we got to the room there was no refrigerator or microwave as shown in pictures. There were stains on the bed sheets and blankets. Stains on the furniture. Only 1 partial roll of toilet paper in the restroom. Shower head was filthy. Some of the countertops had residue on them of unknown origin. Stains on the furniture. Black around the shower controls Damage to the floor covering. The area around the motel felt OK, NOT BAD, but not great either. After staying here I spoke with a friend who is a full time first responder in the city, and suggested rooms in this area of Dickson are more affordable, but not the greatest place to stay. For an inexpensive crash pad it works but not a place to stay with the family.

Fast check in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of dining options within walking distance.

How convenient the location is from the interstate. The price is very affordable too.

Location was ideal, restaurants and shopping mall within walking distances. Room rates are best in Dickson. Laundry facilities on site. Ice machine. Quiet. Good air conditioners. Easy access and room for parking 5th wheel.

Beds are a little out dated and bathroom water pressure was a little low..

It was a non smoking room, so I was asked to leave $150.00 deposit. If smoke was smelled in the room, I would not get my deposit back. I am a non smoker and chose a non smoking room for that reason. I refused to leave a deposit. The deposit was not mentioned when I reserved the room.

Nice will stay again

Room was not clean. And they double charged

Nothing it smelled like mold and water was leaking all over the floor from the sink and toilet

Everything. It was genuinely scary to be there with my son.
