Red Roof Inn & Suites San Angelo

Within the first smash of checking in. Found roaches everywhere ALIVE! From there we decided to check the mattress and there was a huge stain on it. Left ASAP!

The Hotel should not be allowed to carry the name of Red Roof Inn, I have stayed in quite a few Red Roofs and this was the worst.

We immediately noticed there was no coffee maker as listed in the amenities. There was a q-tip in the corner of the restroom that had been there for a while (it was covered on dirt), sheets were stained, bedspread were as well. Hair dryer was completely broken, then we got ready to shower the next morning and found a dirty towel hanging on the backside of the bathroom door and makeup stains on one of the hand towels. We ONLY stayed because it was late when we checked in and didnt want to be charged for this AND another room. But we will NEVER stay or recommend this hotel again

I didnt like that i choose a non smoking room and it reeked of smoke. The toilet handle was broken and there was no showrr head. Tub wasn't clean at all.

It had drug addicts all over the place a couple smoking crack by the trash cans. There was crumbs on the couch in the waiting room. Hotnsauce packets in the plants. Marijuana in the bed. a bag over the smoke detector non smoking room smelled like a bar

Hotel room was disgusting. Roaches, cigarette butts in a non smoking room, left over razors in the tub, mirror had sharpie on it. Nasty.

The room was dirty. Had cockroaches. The bed sheets were filthy with strains and hairs. We had to sleep on top of towels. I spoke to clerk and he apologized. Also my credit card used to hold the room was also charged even though we paid on site.

Very helpful and friendly staff at the hotel, room was clean and well looked after

To start we open the door and half the lights didnt work. It being a long road trip with nothing to do but sip sweet tea, i had to visit the restroom. I walk in and flip on one of the only working lights and the bathroom is FULL of roaches crawling all over the walls on the ceiling and floating in the toilet! I ran out to find my wife (who used to work as a housekeeper and manager at hilton) inspecting drawers and beds and walls! She found roach feces caked on all of the afore mentioned places. We grabbed our infant son and headed straight to the front desk! We told them of the issues and we were placed in another room. Thankfully this one had no signs of bugs. As we were bring our suitcases inside at 2 am there was a drug deal happening right next to our room in plain sight!! We enter into the rokm wife does her inspection and it was still noticeably dirty cut straws on the floor trash behind the bed hair and multiple stains on the sheets and duvet!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!
