Great staff

This accommodation was appalling. Grimy, run down, seedy, unhygienic. The door looked as if someone had previously tried to break in. It's a dump. If you have the option to sleep in the Todd riverbed I advise doing so. The air-conditioning sounded like a jumbo jet & was not usable. The staff appeared to be like characters from a zombie movie. No interaction. No engagement. No care. The carpark had serious access issues yet a call for assistance was useless. After several attempts they wandered down but had a care factor of zero. 20 minutes had elapsed in the meantime. There is something seriously wrong with being expected to pay money to stay somewhere like this. Close it down or do a complete makeover & teach your staff what best practice customer care looks like. Because it sure as hell isn't this place.

Was pleasantly surprised. Great room looks brand new . Just need darker block out curtains as very light in morning. Loved the communal kitchen I actually cooked myself bacon n eggs both mornings and made dinner one night. Quiet area than in town yet so close to town IGA supermarket down town. Really enjoyed bed was so comfy and lots of towels spare blankets and tea n coffe . I’ll be booking their again when I come to town in 3 mths .

Wonderful staff - clean and tidy room - able to use a full kitchen.

We chose this motel off the internet and were a bit disappointed when we got there. There is building work taking place on site so the place looks messy. Our rooms were clean but some of the power outlets and lights didnt work. However, Nancy the receptionist was really pleasant and helpful. The guest kitchen was clean enough and some breakfast food was supplied. There is a guest laundry and even a washing line out the back. The security gate was locked at night with a code to get in and out so we didnt have to worry about our hire car getting broken into. I was surprised to read Chris D's review - I didnt think the motel was that bad but perhaps that review was written a long time ago.

Place is in middle of some renovations- so a little run down in parts But everything functioned just fine- we especially loved communal kitchen and laundry facilities ( including a huge clothes line for stuff that can’t go in dryer) Reception staff member was welcoming and very helpful Great place when budget is a consideration

Nancy, the receptionist, was friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to have a guest kitchen and laundry. The rooms were clean. At night the gate was locked and we needed a code to enter which made us feel secure that our rental car wouldnt get trashed or stolen. BUT, some of the light fittings and power points inte rooms were broken, and outside, its a building site.

The motel is undergoing refurbishment at the moment which it needs. Our room was a bit tired and tatty with lightbulbs missing or too dim to be useful. The bathroom wasn't as clean as it could be, but does need updating. The location is in a quiet suburb, an easy 15 minute walk to town.

This motel is old and in a not so good area. Some rooms have been renovated but not the one we had. Rooms are big and reasonably comfortable. Other visitors were friendly and so are the staff.

Able to secure vehicle every night.
