Cairns Plaza Hotel

Location close to the Cairns Esplanade. Comfortable, clean and modern rooms.

Our standard room had an electric kettle, cutlery, small plates, dishes and glasses but a toaster would have been handy for breakfast.

As accomodation for 1 night close enough to the airport for an early morning flight, Cairns Plaza Hotel was perfect. All we needed was a comfortable bed, enough room and easy access to town. Tick tick tick!

The shower was dirty.

The location - close enough but far enough away from the crowds.

A hostel next door. My rooms door opened onto the pool area of the hostel. Was ok as it rained most nights preventing noise outside the room at night. my room 204 was really close to 205. We had a separate hallway for our rooms which were door to door. Every move the neighbour made I heard.

Check in was simple and the room ready.

TV did not work the second night. Problem with the antennae. Was too late to sort out and missed out of the footy.
