"The comfy bed was the highlight."

Beds were so so comfy!

The location is on a highway and a train line. However the train stopped early in the night and didn’t hear the cars so that was a realise. I also did not like the breakfast.

Everything was just right the staff was amazing the room was immaculate and the breakfast was on point I'm definitely coming back to stay again!

breakfast was very good, with a great variety.The evening appetizers & drinks was also good.

There was a light on the balcony that came on at dusk so you could and shown in the bedroom. you couldn't leave the blackout curtains open at all,.

"We'll definitely stay here again!"

My brother lives in Ventura but he wasn't in town the weekend we were there, so we checked into the Amanzi Hotel on Chestnut Street in downtown Ventura. We were in town for a Surfing Coalition Contest at California Street, nearby our hotel. The Amanzi is a charming "boutique" hotel, part of the Ascend Hotel Collection and we will definitely stay there again when in Ventura. Besides a lovely room, we enjoyed a complimentary Happy Hour in their Dining/Lounge area. As a Lakers fan, I was looking on our room TV for the game, but instead they had it playing in their Lounge for happy hour! Complimentary beer, wine & adult beverages, 2 per person, and a great spread of food. Wings, personal pizza, nachos, popcorn, etc. All complimentary! Next morning we woke up to a full Complimentary breakfast also in the Lounge/Dining area. This is coffee, tea, juices, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, fruit, cereals, all of it, not just a little packaged pastry. The best part, if all that isn't good enough, check out time is NOON! We loved the whole experience.

Traffic wise from.highways was terrible. It was as though you were trying to sleep.in the breakdown lane. Patio is a sick joke.
