Decent location.

New staff took forever to check in. Rooms are tired. Hammering and works on the room next to ours (mid afternoon). The kicker is the rooms were not cleaned. The staff never informed -and we were a large, 5 room party- that you had to request the cleaning. Disappointing

Friendly staff. Ability to wonder grounds to explore so much history. Great eateries and dog friendly establishment.

Although site is from 1917. It could have better upkeep. Love the nostalgic atmosphere but could use some paint and TLC in various locations. Ie communal restrooms. Taproom could have some dart boards, backgammon, etc. Update heaters in rooms. Sounds like a helicopter..

As always the staff was very professional and kind. Jr Suite very comfortable as always.

The noise. We checked in at 3:30 and for two hours we kept hearing hammering and banging on our walls. I went to the front desk to ask what was going on and I was told they were remodeling. I told them it would have been nice if they had notified me of the noice before hand.
