From the front desk to the breakfast room attendant to the laundry room lady, everyone was so accommodating and nice. Very friendly, went out of their way to make sure our stay was excellent. It felt like we had made friends with them all.

Signs everywhere stating non smoking facility. The smoke smell in our room was heavy and the smoke detector was heavily yellowed from smoke. The king bed topper repeatedly flipped up. The breakfast area was out of coffee and napkins and forks.

This was a super clean, quiet hotel. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the AC unit ran wonderfully with no loud fan! I will definitely stay here again if I happen to be trekking through central Illinois.

"Wouldn’t recommend "

The Hotel was listed under Effingham but it was 30 miles north of Effingham and our GPS took us all around side country roads. The room was not real clean and smelled musty. The air conditioner cover was half falling off. The desk attendants were not very friendly at all.

Great staff; always super friendly. The property is dated and would benefit from some cosmetic upgrades. Everything was in good working order; no issues with room temp, water pressure, TV, or internet. Great location.
