Poor customer service

Breakfast was decent. Liked the easy access to uptown shops and mall.

The property is within walking distance of a lot of stores which is great. The only thing that really stuck with me is in the morning we found out that we had no hot water. Called the front desk who let know they would send someone up but waited n no one showed up. Tried to take a cold shower but it was too cold so we ended up leaving without showering until the evening at another hotel. We werent even offered another room just to shower or no word back on what they would do to help.

Mentioned to the front desk that the shower head in bathroom was clogged with hard water deposits and not flowing well. They made immediate note of it. Great breakfast and good coffee!

Great location

Bed Bugs! Do not stay here! My family has been staying at Hyatt Place hotels for over 10 years — it has always been our go-to brand. Unfortunately, that ends now after a terrible one-night stay at Hyatt Place Albuquerque Uptown (Check-in 08/26/25 – Check-out 08/27/25). I stayed in Room 408. I was bitten several times by bed bugs on my legs and around ankles. The pullout bed was full of crumbs, showing the sheets had not even been changed. Within two days, my bites became so swollen and infected that I had to visit urgent care on 08/29/25 due to severe pain, itching, and fluid discharge. When I contacted management, I received contradictory and dismissive responses: Tana (Manager) told me the room was already occupied, so it had not yet been inspected, but Ecolab would investigate and they would follow up with me. Cyndi (Manager) emailed me before that conversation, claiming the room had already been inspected by pest control and no bed bugs were found. These statements cannot both be true. Since then, I have repeatedly called to request the inspection report from Ecolab, but I am always told the managers are “in a meeting” or “just stepped out.” This lack of honesty and urgency is unacceptable. I am also contacting the Health Department to report this incident, as it is dangerous to dismiss a bed bug infestation and continue placing guests in affected rooms. I now question whether this is standard practice at this location. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Clean, location was great, room was very nice

The door lock cover kept falling off, the outlet by the television had a strange buzz sound, upon checkout, all the hotel doors were locked, including the front door itself. I was unable to return the luggage cart because of this, and my child needed to use the restroom before we left, but we were locked out. He was still in the main lobby area and could leave, but I was unable to get in to check on him. For some reason the front main doors are locked during breakfast hours. It was a panicky situation knowing I couldn’t go inside. Luckily my kid came out ok.
