Howard Johnson by Wyndham Roseburg

Bathroom shower curtain moldy. TV did not work. If room door left ajar, it swings wide open on its own. Room clock stuck on one time of day. Bed had only one thin blanket. kitchenette: floor was dirty. Kitchen pots unsafe because Teflon badly peeled. Only one cup and one glass. No washing implement. Cooktop exhaust fan broken. No bar stools to fit counter bar. Good was the car charger, even though overpriced.

The room had a broken door that didn’t lock properly and also had a bad odor. It had a bad cat urine like odor.

Great place to stay for the price. Was in town for work for the week. Room was clean, everything worked, staff was friendly and helpful and always available

the price, but it didn't feel like a Howard Johnson at all. I have a reservation for a longer stay in August but strongly considering changing it.

On the booking website it says breakfast is served, but whenever we were there the office was locked/closed. To check in we had to call them and wait for someone to come to the desk at 8:30pm The office didn't even open until 10 am so i didn't even receive a receipt for my stay. The pictures posted on the booking site did not match the layout of our room, the wall art did, but they layout was different.

No Wi-Fi for the two days I was there. I didn’t spend much time in my room cause I couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi I addressed the issue a few times n nothing happened . Plus I had to pay a 100 deposit which I never have to pay at super 8 n there run by the same company . Makes no sense to me

Older facility but clean. Had initial trouble with door lock, but the staff made things right and gave us an upgarded room.

Very easy to check in online. Staff was very pleasant and had keys ready when we arrived. Older building but was very clean. Minor problems with a loose tap . Some towels need to be replaced as they very very rough and thin. Not very white ( grey looking) .

It wasn’t in the best location of town. Homeless everywhere. Old hotel. Outside was rough looking. Curtains were thin and one side only had a black out curtain that was stuck together in places like it was glued together. Front door jammed and was very hard to open. Rip in the comforter. The coffee pot was disgustingly dirty and had slug in the bottom of it. Not a place I would recommend or would stay in again. The woman that checked is in was very nice and polite and helpful.

Friendly staff and easy checkin. Good for solo travel. Hotel is centrally located and in walking distance of restaurants and shops.
