Il Cucù B&B

This is an exceptionally great accommodation for visiting Rome, Frascati, and the surrounding area. My boyfriend and I spent five nights at B&B Il Cucu, and every evening we were saying to each other how happy we are that we chose to stay in Frascati instead of Rome. It takes only 30 minutes to reach Frascati from Rome Termini train station (which is faster than reaching some of Rome's suburbs), and it takes less than a 5-minute walk to reach B&B Il Cucu from Frascati train station. The location of B&B Il Cucu is just perfect. Frascati itself is a very calm and nice town, worth spending a day simply walking around, enjoying the architecture and gelatos. There are many nice cafes, restaurants, and gelaterias within a few minutes walk from B&B Il Cucu, as well as several manors and even an archaeological site on a hill within a hiking distance. Flavia, the owner of B&B Il Cucu, was really welcoming, friendly, and helpful. She was very flexible with the check-in time - Flavia welcomed us even earlier than supposed to and offered aromatic cups of Italian espresso :) During our stay, she was available via WhatsApp. When we approached her asking for some suggestions regarding visiting some other lovely towns, she suggested a really great destination that we could easily reach from Frascati. The place itself exceeded our expectations - in reality, it looks way better than in the photos! B&B Il Cucu was very clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The breakfast was self-service, which was just great as several mornings we woke up quite early. Every morning, the breakfast offer was supplemented with new goods. Even though the bathroom and the kitchen are shared areas with two other rooms, the place didn't have a "hostel vibe", but felt more like a private accommodation. If you are looking for great accommodation close to Rome, this is it! :)

The B&B il Cucu' is in a perfect location, walking distance from the train station and the city center. The room is big and well-heated, and the bathroom is super clean. Flavia, the owner, and the other persons working there are very kind and ready to help. I highly recommend il Cucu'!

The breakfast was good with müsli and yoghurt available. The location was close to the centre.

The heating should have been better controllable by the people staying there. It became extremely cold in the middle of the night, and this only improved later once the heaters turned on (perhaps on a timer?)

Everything was perfect

A lovely place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Flávia and the girls are super friendly and make you feel at home. It’s also very well located.

The location was good

It was too old and it seemed risky because while walking on the floor it moved the bed and the wardrobe and we were afraid that it would fall.

Location, center of frascati, perfect. Lady that helped with check in also very nice.

Floor was quite dusty inside the room. The bed cover was also dusty, not very good for someone with allergies. . The kitchen to cook breakfast had the appliances but not much food. Don't know if there was supposed to be like that, since the breakfast was included. The butter was rancid, maybe it sits there for long-time. 4 empty bottles of juice. And that's it. No cheese or a piece of fruit . Again don't know if its supposed to be like that.
