Comfort Inn Collinsville near St Louis

The beds and pillows were great. Location was good and the front desk staff was very informative.

The carpet in room 117 was absolutely dirty and disgusting. We were traveling with pets so I assume we were in a designated pet room but the carpet was horribly filthy.

Stayed one Friday night for a work trip. The staff was friendly. Lobby, common areas, and room were very clean. Free breakfast in the morning. There was plenty of parking. There were several restaurants within walking distance. I have no complaints.

We have stayed here several times, twice last year. It is a convenient stop for us. There are several places to eat within walking distance. It appears clean. The lighting was good. There was a small refrigerator but it did have a freeze compartment. Our room was a large king room. There were adequate towels and 120v plugs. Convenient parking. There is a pool with a hot tub we didn't use them. The breakfast was typical, maybe a little better than some.

We were supposed to be staying at the Hampton Inn across the street, which was going through a "soft" renovation, which looked more like a tornado cleanup. After waiting too long to get in a room, Hampton Inn suggested we not stay there and instead go to the Comfort Inn across the street, which turned out to be a great decision based on the continued mess we observed for the next couple days from our clean, quiet room at the Comfort Inn. Ray at the night desk could not have been more helpful in checking us in and relieving our anxiety from our recent experience across the street. Give that man a raise! Our room was clean, quiet, and well appointed. We had our dog, so the quick access to outdoors was greatly appreciated. The breakfast selection was much better than some of the Comfort Inns we've stayed at in the past. The pool was a delightful cool down after a hot and humid day.

The breakfast items had an odd taste. Especially the gravy and the danishes.

This property is well taken care of. The night manager was very helpful. It was a big problem for us loading our car as the side door near our room wouldn’t open with the key card, a huge inconvenience for packing, unpacking, walking dog and no telephone to get help when locked out

Clean. Staff were very nice, & helpful. Quiet, which is very important to me.

Everything was perfect for me.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was well stocked, clean area, and yummy.
