La Quinta by Wyndham Tampa Brandon West

The people and service is awesome so I feel bad about this review, but the hotel needs a complete remodel. You could smell the air freshener before you walk in the door. Every area of the hotel has a different smell.

Was very clean and comfortable, staff is very nice and respectful, in a great location, loved the breakfast and coffee every morning.

breakfast was good when it was stocked- there were some times we would come down and there would be no eggs. the juice only had one option (OJ) as the other four were just water - not cranberry or apple.

the hallways had a bad odor, the carpets were very dirty. our room was not cleaned thoroughly when we checked in there was soapy towels hanging in the shower from previous guest, hair in the bathtub and empty alcohol bottles under the bed from previous guest.

They had good breakfast. And all of the staff were super nice and helpful. I had only one towel in my room. And I let them know within mins they bring more to the room. Great staff.

I didnt like the smell of the hallways. Had to leave my window open and air it out(3rd floor) And the bed says queens but it was smaller then that. Over priced but I think it was due to the concert of BTS@ARMY.
