Holiday Inn Express Corning by IHG

I stayed here for one night during a work trip from Seattle to Los Angeles. It was a great value for the money. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options.

Coffee was good! So was breakfast, good amount of options to choose from.

We booked a 2 queen room for 4 people and they gave us 1 king bed and a sleeper sofa. Would have been fine, however there was no bedding for the sleeper sofa bed. We even asked- and they said they had no bedding for us. So- we got one bed and a couch. Also, only gave us 2 towels for 4 people. Super strong chemical smell gave the kids headaches, however I think that was just unlucky timing as the manager said they were painting bathtubs.

I just stayed one night. I didn’t require anything extra. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and cozy was a very smooth transition in and out. Breakfast was plenty. The location was just what it was a small town. I popped over to one of the casinos and back super easy Gas close by food close by great food truck up the road.

Breakfast was great and open a long time. Location right off the freeway was great. Parking lot well lit. Staff were friendly. Everything felt really clean in the room and with towels. Lighting on building and in room was remarkable. Towels at pool. Pool hours were long.

With parking right outside our room, someone parked in front kept locking their vehicle that had a double honking feature, which was alarming. Swimming pool had high population of water bugs living in it, so did not feel comfortable getting my hair in pool water or swimming. Pool most likely was not chlorinated enough to prevent bugs from populating the pool. One downside at breakfast, pancake maker was not working because batter needed to be reloaded and staff were not around to report issues, though they swiftly swept through other items.
