Shilo Inn Elko

AC worked great and the shower was hot so I'm sold! Rooms were great size, our room had a mini kitchenette which was great to have a place designated to eat and sit. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location for food choices, groceries, and fuel. If your not one of those finicky hotel guests that have to have the wall paper the right print or you can't stay, then this is a great option at an economic price.

Lobby and hallways were extremely hot (granted it was 109° outside during our stay), pool was out of service (the pool was one reason we booked at this hotel) Had a room with 2 beds and it was only stocked with 3 shower towels. (Went to the front desk and they were happy to get me more towels) I don't mind dated interior because it does not effect my stay but the mattresses need some updating, atleast in the room I stayed in.

We had a wonderful stay! Very dog friendly. The room had a lot of space and the beds were big. The employees were all so nice!

Decent

Requested pet room. On arrival was told no cats allowed. That is on the property website. NOT on the booking .com site where I reserved. So there was no stay and I had to find a room elsewhere

I did not like the pool hours 7am to 12am does not work. It should be 8am to 7pm . That way people can cool down in the afternoon.

The pool had a greenish hue. Room 115 queen bed closest to the door, mattress was worn out and slumped greatly that whomever slept on that side felt like they were sliding off.

They let me check in a little early. Which came in clutch

No hbo, green pool, extra fees if you lose the key card. The entire room is dated, plunger was left in the room. Not all the lights work. I would have not been happy if I had my family with me.
