Shilo Inn Elko

We woke up to a knock on the door from a nice lady who informed us we were staying in a "Do Not Rent" room. Asked why would they put us in here then, she said she didn't know. Before we even stayed our first night, front desk had told us that the pool was safe to swim in, good thing I did not have my wife & son swim that night because a different front desk person had told us that in fact that pool was very harmful to humans so it's out of order. That was our first & last time staying at this place. would not recommend. Would have rather paid another $100 to stay in a much nicer environment.

I was so disappointed at this hotel it smells like mildew the kitchen area was gross the toilet made a loud noise when you got up the floor was sticky the beds are so uncomfortable! This place needs a makeover fast!!! Yuk pass this place up not worth the money!!

Rooms are nice!

It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great, pool was dirty even though we weren’t doing planning on swimming. Staff was nice, it’s a lil out dated in my opinion. But for an overnight stay it was good. Friends stayed down the hall, they said their door looked like it had been kicked in before. Close to shopping and food. Good food spot near by but I forgot the name. Nice stores near by as well

The staff was excellent.

The pool was green and the hot tub cold.

Very helpful in a room change request to accommodate family.

Needs updated but room was clean and sheets were clean.

Beds were comfortable, rooms seemed clean, plenty of convenience within walking distance. Rooms were bigger than I expected with kitchenettes attached. HOT water in the shower.

Pool was open but the water was green. Says it's a non smoking facility but the hallways stank of cigarettes and weed badly. Water pressure seemed low. Shower didn't spray hard and the toilet always required multiple flushes.

The late night checkin clerk was not very friendly. The safety lock on the door was ripped off the wall, and the window screen was torn up. Some leftover garbage was under the bed. The website stated that a free breakfast voucher at a nearby restaurant would be provided, but when I asked in the morning, they said breakfast was not provided. Overall, not a hotel I would stay at again.

The floors were not very clean. There was a dead Dried up bug under my pillow. The shampoo that was in the bathroom was half used so room service did not put a new shampoo in the room and one of the coffee creamer packets was half opened and half used and put back in the tray.
