Shilo Inns Newport Oceanfront

Very Run down hotel. partially renovating. Paid for a Deluxe Room which didnt looked like the picture on Hotel.com. we had no hot water (someone installed the cartridge wrong on the bathtub. Switch to another room it was must better...and even had a newer furniture. there is no air con entire hotel. only fan available. toilet seats paint/ skin was peeling off. cost for rooms are too high for such condition.

Advertising with pool and they do NOT have A POOL.

Very friendly staff and great setting. Hotel is older, but room and bathroom were clean. Large room with two queens.

This is an older property. But our room was updated. Definitely a step up since our last stay here. The restaurant and cafe were currently not open but not a big deal. All in all a nice quiet weekend get away.

When I got to the hotel my keys didn't work and I didn't want to have to lug everything back down to my car or to the front desk so I called and they sent someone up with a fresh set of key cards within 2-3 minites. Your car will scrap going in and out of the parking garage if you're in D building. I ended up parking on the street, which was fine, it's a safe area. I love the close proximity to Nye beach for shopping and eating, you could walk there. If you want an extra long walk, you could walk to the bay front for more shops and dining and pass by Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. My friend and I enjoyed our girls weekend with ocean view. We watched the sunset out the large window in our room from the top level. The beds were comfortable. The room is a little dated but clean. They have the old baseboard heating but the room had fans in the closet. You could also open the window (safe if you have kids, the window itself was huge but the actual parts that opened, no human could fit through it).

Nice enough but very much bargan. Got floor level even though we requested upper level. No towel service despite a two-night stay. Standard definition TV.

We have a family of 5, so they upgraded us for free to a double room with 2 queens and a sleeper sofa. Unexpected and much appreciated!

The room was very nice and comfortable, Clean and quiet. The view was amazing! The bed was very comfortable and we got a great nights sleep!

We were put in a old outdated building. Resturant was permantly closed. Parking garage was in very poor condition. Car scraped bottom in and out of garage.
