Hampton Inn & Suites Lake City

Newly remodeled. Very clean and comfortable. Best part was breakfast. Taste seemed well above typical Hampton breakfast and lady taking care of it was very nice.

Stayed here on our trip to Houston. Everything about the Hampton Inn was excellent especially the breakfast and the service provided by Rosalee. One recommendation to your management though is that there needs to be signage from the main road to get to your hotel it’s not at all clear there’s not even road markings to show that it’s a road. It looks like you’re going into a strip mall.

I have bee to about 20 Hamptons this year. They were all very good but no one could surpass the amazing attention to detail, friendly genuinely caring staff. The front desk staff were so helpful by teaching me how to use Apple pay as I had accidently left my purse at home. The room attrndants were all so sweet and nice to talk to. He restaurant people watched and asked if they could get me things like tray to carry breakfast to the room. I used to own a Travel Agency, and now I am a lawyer and a broker and I know quality when I see it. Thank you staff of the Hampton Inn and Suites of Lake City Florida! You made our stay so wonderful!

Everything was great from my first contact with the hotel when I called for a reservation. Sharon at the front desk was so friendly and spoke so clearly I could hear her even with the car noise. She was there to greet us as Hilton Honors members when we arrived. Our King Study was roomy, modern and comfortable. A great stop for us before continuing further south in Florida.

Location was good. Bath room was newly remodeled. The employees were pleasant. The remodeling noise wasn’t too bad either.

The beds were lumpy, hard, and uncomfortable. Pillows were hard. We were there for a good nights rest but I am afraid that was impossible.

Breakfast was good. Was not as nice as other Hamptons I’ve stayed in but worked for us. Not quite the breakfast I remember in past Hamptons.

Better selection of breakfast. Water situation as posted at elevator gave cause for concern.

There’s not much you can say about a Hampton Inn, except that they are perfect overnight spot. We were greeted very well by the desk, our room was clean, and the breakfast was good. The best part was our breakfast lady, Rosalie. She had such a heart and wanted to make sure we had everything the way we wanted it. Truly enjoyed our stay. We have dogs and there was enough area outside to walk them in the area felt safe.

Room did not have blackout curtains. There were blinds, which let a lot of light in to the room, that were tattered and did not function properly. The shower handle was frozen closed so we were unable to shower before leaving. Maintenance was not available and we were not offered another room for showering. The room had a bad odor.
