Labyrinth Kasbah Dades

Mehdi is the most welcoming of hosts at this eclectic Riad. He has converted his family home to provide comfortable accommodation with beautiful views from the terrace. We could tell that he has poured his heart and soul into decorating this beautiful guest house - every nook and cranny is a delight for the eyes! Although there is no liquor license, guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol, provided they can produce a receipt of proof of purchase. My mother and I particularly enjoyed the outstanding food - the best we tasted in all of Morocco!

Our host Mahdi was so warm and welcoming. He has created a truly unique place. Tranquil and relaxing.

The service was very personalised and attentive. Mehdi and his brother were a pleasure to meet. They did everything for us to have a great stay. The dinner was very tasty made to measure and the breakfast was varied and well served.

Mehdi is so kind and an amazing host, thankyou for having us! The village is also beautiful and the people are lovely; don't miss the waterfall when you visit :)

we had the best time at mehdi's place! from the first second, mehdi and his team made us feel like at home. the breakfast and the dinner were amazing, and the area is great for hikes. altogether, you should not miss this place, because you won't find a better experience anywhere. i would highly recommend everyone to come to morocco, and visit the beautiful dades valley while enjoying the heartwarming atmosphere of mehdi, his team and the kasbah.

The perfect oasis for a recap during your adventure near Dades and Gorges Valley. Truly personal, low key, clean and a fun surprise for Dutch travellers. Wonderfull sights across the valley on the way up.

Mehdi was the nicest Moroccan we’ve ever met! if you are looking for an authentic place that has a special story and homie feel this is your place! he went out of his way to make us feel like family (without charging us for it). the hospitality was authentic and from the good of his heart. you can not go wrong with staying here!

Very beautiful original guest house, run by a young man and his family. Very relaxing setting with many teraces overlooking the river valley. Home is very close to the start of a hiking trail and infact owner himself, could tell one a lot about the hike, or if he has an opportunity he can take you for a hike himself, as he is a licensed guide. We have stayed only one day, but we have experienced so much honest hospitality that we really recommend you to stop for the night here. In addition food is all from local produce and very tasty!

Excellent location. Guest house was nicely decorated and there were lots of places to explore. Medhi (the owner) was lovely! He was really friendly and happy to provide tips for seeing Morocco. The rooms are spacious.

This place has amazing reviews but I think we might have been unlucky as we didn't get to experience what everyone else seems to mention, perhaps as Medhi wasn't there initially. We found the dinner overpriced (150MAD) - there was no menu we just ordered over the phone and one of our orders was wrong. They advised dinner would be at 8pm but we weren't served until 08.30pm. Medhi was very apologetic about this. He offered us free breakfast which was a lovely gesture but seeing as we don't eat breakfast, we asked for a mint tea after dinner instead. There was no mint in the tea and the next day, they asked us to pay for it. There was a mild smell in both bathrooms but easily fixed by closing the bathroom door.

I could not fault my stay at this beautiful eclectic Kasbah. Mehdi has transformed his family’s Kasbah to accomodation that feels like a comfortable and welcoming home away from home. Nothing is too much trouble for Mehdi and his ‘crew’. I would gladly stay again . Breakfast was amazing! Thankyou Mehdi . I will be back. EnchAllah Enara. Sunshine Coast. Australia
