Hotel Tres Sofías

Breakfast was a bonus, the location was ideal

The staff at Tres Sofias really go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They are friendly, informative and really give a "homely" feel while respecting privacy and being professional. The location is fabulous, a quiet neighbourhood just a few minutes walk from Plaza de Armes. There is a lovely continental breakfast included with hot options available at reasonable prices. It is also nice that you can use their clean kitchen to self cater. We booked a 2am drive to the airport with this hotel and were so very glad we did. Roger was a great driver who went out of his way to get us to our flight on time when a traffic delay caused the main road to be blocked. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Queretaro!

Initially, we worried about the noise when we saw our room was off the main corridor just down from the office. But it was not a problem at all! This family run hotel was a quiet oasis!

It felt like home and included in the family

The rooms are extremely clean but small

It was a place like home, cute room, quiet, safe, very clean and comfy. Good breakfast and really, really nice staff. Conveniently situated, with an excellent French bakery next door as well as a lavandería. Some 200m uphill there was a lovely plaza with an excellent café/restaurant, which belonged to the bakery. Highly recommended - El mercado de la Cruz, where they sell local produce, above all, excellent cheese. It's 15 minutes' walk.

Simple but adequate

Very friendly staff. Breakfast of fruit/yogurt/granola/toast was perfect for our needs. Excellent location, very convenient to everything in the center of town.

Hard to find with no sign at all on the building! Bed was very hard (and I like hard beds…this was above and beyond).
