Best Western Benton Harbor – St. Joseph

The bathroom was very dirty, the bed wasuncomfortable, the desk chair was broken, and the desk drawer was also broken.

We’ve been coming to this hotel annually for the past 10 years and won’t be back. We weren’t given enough pillows or towels for the number of guests on our reservation and they wouldn’t give us more. We used hand towels for our shower. The bedding looked like it had blood spots on it so we had to go to Walmart next door to buy bedding and pillows. The room smelled, the pull out mattress was covered in stains and had a dirty sock in it. Then they tried to take payment in full a second time upon check out after I had paid in full a month prior to visit online which thankfully booking called and dealt with for us

Friendly, courteous desk staff and breakfast attendant. At check-in, the room could have been dusted a bit more thoroughly.

Clean room , friendly staff, very good breakfast. Definitely stay again.

While it’s not a 5 star hotel, I gave it 5 stars because for what it is, it deserves 5 stars. It has everything you want in a short stay motel. It’s well appointed, neat and clean. The rooms were up to date, clean and well appointed. The pool was clean and convenient. The spa was hot and the bunker worked flawlessly. The free breakfast had hot food and variety. The staff is friendly. What more can you ask?

Paid $266, checked in, the toilet was leaking all over the bathroom floor, they had no comparable rooms to move us to, stained furniture, shower covered in other people’s hair, bathroom floor stained and sticky. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

The whole property was clean. The staff was incredibly nice and help. Breakfast is what you would expect.

The location was further away than we wanted but that was on us.
