"Initially skeptical but had a great experience"

8.0

I initially booked a single room with a shared bathroom because I thought it had air conditioning. We arrived and the room was kind of dirty, with old linens and no AC. They told us they had another room available with AC and a private bathroom for a slightly higher price, and it was MUCH nicer and cleaner. So maybe don’t come here for the very cheapest option, but our room was really nice for a great price. It was a beautiful place and very quiet, even though it’s close to the square. Google directed us there through some sketchy alleys, but there’s a much easier way to get there from the other direction, turning right out the front door to the square.

"Mixed experience"

4.0

Convenient placed hotel near djemaa el-fna, easy to find, nice roof-terrace. The 'luxury room' is unfortunately not at all luxury, unless you think of that as a small room with a moldy bathroom and bad indoor climate. Staff is helpful but not very friendly.

"awful place"

2.0

unless if you are completely desperate and about to be on the street, don't go to this place. expensive for having to share toilet and shower with other people, the staff are so rude and very unhelpful. there's a lot of good places around just keep looking and don't waste your money on this one

good location, right next the main square. Its a hostel,do not expect hotel quality! But it has everything you need for a couple of nights. Staff is helpful.definitely a safe place to stay at,and once you r in the building,it’s quiet.

We spent here one night with my friends. A little bit hard to find it but if you ask help it wont be a big deal. The stuff was very helpfull gave us several recommendation. The room and the bed was vey comfortable. It had hot water. The wifi was good. It is very close to the center just a minute walk.

"find something else"

4.0

big problem with the hot water. it comes and goes, but mostly there is none running. someone from the group said she got hot water after causing a scandal at the reception. they keep going on about the tank/boiler or something, that it ran out of hot water, not my problem when you have a full hotel. the room was very small, sheets were dingy, couldn't say if they were clean as the lighting was terrible. first night the light fixture failed in the bathroom so we "showered" using our phone lantern. towards the end of the stay they were putting wifi in the rooms but the water was always an issue. very problematic for a tourist running around all day sightseeing to come late at night and not be able to take a quick decent shower. the soap was dodgy and very small, not enough for our room of 3, so maybe bring your own. patios and terrace look great, the rooms are a different kettle of fish. the street from the market to the hotel smelled very badly of urine each evening, so you can imagine...

"Great location"

8.0

The location is just perfect, only a few meters from the Jemaa el Fnaa square and the souk. During the evening it is easy to go back to the hotel without getting lost. The staff is very nice. Every time I´m in Marrakech I stay at this riad.

""Excellent value for your money""

10.0

Since years im going to this Riad. Only 100 meters from the main Plaza Djamel Efna, this Riad have friendly Personal, huge variaty of different rooms with different prices /starting a privat room as low like 9 euro/night/. The Riad have a lots of couches to relax, huge terrace /2 levels/, clean shared bathrooms. Wifi is strong at the first level, ask the personal, whatever they can do, they will help you. I wish i could find in all of the places in Moroco a Riad with that kind of honest/helpfull people.

"Great budget stay!"

10.0

We traveled to the Hotel with a group of 20 people and they were really accommodating to us even when we wanted to switch some rooms. The rooms are basic but really really clean. So are the common toilets and bathrooms. Not all rooms are equipped with air conditioning but most of the rooms ended up being fairly cool even in July summer heat. The hotel also has some really stunning roof top terraces from which you can enjoy the close by sounds from Jma el Fna. The courtyard inside is also really nice and offers some nice sitting areas. The breakfast is absolutely fine and they even made us a huge package to go when we had to leave early for a trip one day. I would definitely return here, especially when traveling with a group. What a friendly place super close to Jma el Fna.
