USGreat breakfast, intetesting old house in the center of town, lovely garden.
The room was pleasant, but I had been promised a garden view over the phone and didn't get it. I would have liked a little fridge space, a tea kettle and a reading light at the desk. The house was fairly loud in the evenings.
Helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet. Fully-equipped kitchenettes. Conveniently-located for public transport, just a few minutes' walk from the nearest bus stop and about 15 minutes from Brig railway station.

AUThe bed was really comfortable. The kitchen was perfect to cook meals in.. I loved the history of the place and the different people who stayed there.
GBThe room is spacious and very clean. The breakfast is quite good.
There was no hot water for two consecutive nights.
The fresh warm breads, meats, cheeses, and soft boiled eggs were wonderful. This is a very simple guesthouse so there were no frills like TV. Staff was very friendly.
GBGBRoom 324 was really quite. It was on the 3rd floor (lift is avalable only upto 2nd floor) The room was nice and clean when i arrived, with all the necessary facilities in the room - towels, toiletries. Had cupboards with keys. (enough for storing your luggage, jackets, and other stuff. The room was spacious for a single bed, but felt very old and stale. It was very clean, but the pillow was very uncomfortable. The staff did change it for my 2nd day stay. The backyard is amazing. i had a lovely time eating the breakfast in this area. Close to the city center. Just 5 mins walk. Loads of eating options available at the alley leading to the city centre and city centre itself.
Room 324 - did not have any views. It was 15 mins walk from the train station and i had to drag my bag which was difficult - it was an upwards slow to walk on and the pathway was not smooth (they had old, antique, paving blocks for street tiles. It was confusing on how to get in the hotel. Suggest adding some directions to the visitors to access the main gate over the confirmation email. No kettle or tea/coffee, shower cap, facial tissues and available in the room. The breakfast was very basic for vegetarian - fruits, tea/coffee/milk/juices, muesli/Choco pop, variety of cheese, bread had to be cut by yourself, no option to toast the bread and egg.
Trevligt ställe, mera gasthaus (som namnet säger) än hotell. Allt fungerade bra för oss, vänlig personal.
