There were roaches on the floor and tiny black bugs on floor and bed

Cancelled my room after I called to confirm my reservation, told the lady at the front desk to say these exact words “your room was cancelled after the payment was declined” yet nobody called me to get a payment which in the first place was book now pay at arrival! Lady at the front desk kept telling me “how would we have your number to let you know it was cancelled”!

Disrespectful

The location was great. Super close to a lot of restaurants! The hotel was really clean and the beds were super comfy.

No smoking even outside

We left super early in the morning to catch a flight before breakfast time but we appreciated the manager or staff offering us vouchers for breakfast when we first checked in because it was so late at night that all the food options were closed. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean.

When i booked this hotel, i kept the reservation specifically because I requested for free shuttle service from the hotel to the airport and got this message from Booking.com confirming the request had been accepted: " We're happy to let you know that the property has confirmed they can arrange this for you. There will be no extra charge for this request." I was totally shocked to find out from the hotel staff when we arrived in Dallas that they will not be honoring this request which had actually been confirmed. I would expect that we will be reimbursed for the cost of our uber from the hotel to the airport from Aloft because we would not have stayed there and found a closer location. Hopefully in the future the hotel would make it clear that there is clearly no free shuttle service to the airport and Booking.com would not provide incorrect information. For now I would be looking to fairly resolve this by having the uber fees I paid for refunded.
