Authentic Central 3-Bedroom Apartment

Lovely location with in a beautiful street

Although the property had been cleaned, the condition of the property was not what would be expected for the cost (very inflated price compared to other times of the year, due to be being over the New Year period). There was cobwebs around the ceilings of all the rooms, the carpets throughout were stained (most noticeably in the master bedroom) the dining chairs and island stools in the kitchen were stained, there was no tea towels in the kitchen and a limited number of bathroom towels for 6 guests. On the 2nd day after 2 guests having showers, there was no hot water left, resulting in 4 of us having a swift cold shower. The outside stairs down to the property were a fete each day as well due to over grown bushes and a build up of wet leaves (unfortunately one of the guests had a sprained ankle and navigating these stairs was quite treacherous)

Really big apartment. Kitchen fully equipped, there was everything and even more what we needed.

Very central easy walk to all attractions, bus stop immediately in front of the property with direct connection to the main street, i.e., 'royal mile'. Though its a lower ground and basement property (on two floors below the street), still all rooms were well ventilated with natural light since the building is on a hill so the rear of the flat is actually at ground level while the front is below street level.

Huge citchen area, suitable for our 5 ladies company. Comfy bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. As a welcoming gift we had coffee, some fruits and buiscits. Very clean and tidy.

A large well equipped property perfect for our 3 night stay in Edinburgh. Excellent location. I highly recommend this property.

1. The kitchen, the island and all the utensils! 2. The flowers, fruits & cookies prepared by the host :)

1. Staircase to the unit, tough with big baggage. 2. Not enough hot water & need to boost it after 4th person bathed. 3. The small door opposite main entrance is slightly opened, looks spooky...
