Host service was exceptional (and we have enjoyed the welcome fruits/coffee/biscuits very much). The house condition is exceptional. The heater is on auto-sensor mode which is excellent. About 1km walk (10min) walk from the Edinburgh train station but there's a bus station right across this property which you can use.

Outside doesn't reflect the inside, needs power washing and colour maybe pots, plants etc

Lovely place with lots of things like crockery and cutlery but missing some basics - bath plug, oven gloves, tea towels. A plug was provided in time for a bath on the second night.
