The apartment is spacious and has almost everything you need. There are supermarkets nearby, bus stop as well, easily approach the center on foot and with one bus change, you can reach Mondello beach as well. Newly renovated apartment and clean as well.

There are minor things that can change the stay rating to 10: 1. the small room does not have AC, but if you turn the AC in the living room on, it will be ok. 2. maybe addition of some basic cooking stuffs like oil 3. maybe not appropriate for old people as there is no lift (though it is on the first floor but high steps)

L'alloggio era pulito, ampio e ben arredato, provvisto di aria condizionata. La cucina era ben attrezzata, il bagno funzionale. I proprietari si sono dimostrati disponibili e attenti.

The apartment was a 5 minute walk from Palermo Lolli train station, a 20 minute walk towards the Old Town. The apartment is on the first floor, 1 flight of stairs, it was the most spacious apartment we have stayed in through Booking.com, it was incredibly clean, everywhere, the kitchen was fully equipped, microwave, oven and hob, toaster, no kettle but alternative options for making coffee/tea. Also there were tea towels!! and kitchen roll!! The main bedroom had a large dressing room with huge wardrobes, dressing table and chair and the bedroom had a lovely big comfortable bed with good quality linen which was spotless. Also patio doors onto a balcony. The second bedroom, was a single bedroom, again huge wardrobe, dressing table and chair, bedside table, lamp and a small window, both bedrooms had more than enough storage. The living room was also very large, with large screen TV, Sofa/sofa bed, 2 occasional chairs, patio doors onto balcony. A separate dining room with table and chairs, the kitchen was separate, also with patio doors onto balcony. The bathroom had a good sized shower with good pressure and even temperature. Plenty of clean towels, shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper, we have stayed at many places where there is insufficient toilet paper! There was also a utility area. The apartment was facing a busy road, during the day it's quite noisy, by the time we returned in the evenings the traffic reduced, so no impact on sleep. Maria and Luigi I feel go above and beyond to make your stay a good one, Maria gave us a link for a tour of Palermo the old town and suggestions for places to visit like Cefalu on the train, Monreale on the bus. Luigi took us back to the airport, we had a lovely chat, he said his English wasn't good, but it was, he offered to take us to a village near the airport, we declined, we didn't want to put him out really.

There was nothing to dislike.

Location was great. Luigi was incredibly helpful. He provided us a custom itinerary of key sights to see and things to do for our short stay. The apartment was also very suitable for a family of 4 or even 5. Sofa bed was comfortable too.

Payment for washing machine. Even thought it’s not much, it seems unnecessary to pay an additional amount to activate the machine. I would suggest simply increasing the price ever so slightly to accommodate washer usage for the stay. In all our travels we never had to pay to get a washer activated, a little odd. In addition have an indoor drying rack would be great.

The apartment was clean and had everything you need in it. The host was very helpful with information about what to do and eat in Palermo and also surroundings, day trips etc.

Luigi is exceptional host. Friendly. Always there when you need him with outstanding advices what to see, where to eat etc. Location is really central and you do not need a car to move around. However, we came with rent-a-car and Luigi saved us with his advice about nearby parking.

I know it was written on Booking that we should pay for the use of washing machine, but this was really strange because we always had in other appartments (not only in Sicily) not just washing machine, but dryer as well. Included in the apartment's price.

The logcation is a few minutes walk from the train station Palermo Loli. The house is big and clean. The bed is soft and comfortable. It is a nice journey in Palermo.
