Very nice hotel close to everything. Breakfast expensive so went to local café where we had an excellent breakfast for 4 euros.

The hotel is in a great location on the bank of the Danube, the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Looking at previous reviews we expected the rooms to be small which they were but they were more than satisfactory. Two things which let the hotel down were the restaurant menu which had nothing that excited and the waitress couldn't suggest anything! oh and she spilt our wine!! The other moan is having to pay €14 to park the car in an almost empty hotel carpark.

Insanely unhelpful staff, unknowledgable about the city, told me incorrect things and directions. Very overpriced, rooms uncomfortable.

Everything was perfect - the view, the comfy beds & the overall cleanliness. The only downside to this hotel is that breakfast is not included and it was quite expensive.

We take tow type of rooms , the comfort room wasn't clean and it was old and smelly . The superior room was more modern and with better bathroom

My wife and I checked in here for 4 nights, on a pre paid reservation for a city view room (€100 cheaper than a river view). Our 11th floor room faced west and overlooked the Lentos gallery, the Danube, and the Ars Electronica Centre, with a view extending well past the Hauptplatz. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the ensuite bathroom a little cramped by modern standards. The biggest downside was the lack of air conditioning - we saw daily highs in excess of 36C, and walking back to the hotel at 11pm temperatures were still in excess of 30C. Brits would doubtless welcome the provision of tea & coffee making facilities which were sadly lacking. We ate in the KE Cafe Bar of the hotel on arrival but thought the meal a touch expensive, but there's not many places with a Danube view. The vast breakfast buffet is €20, but if all you want is a continental breakfast there's a wealth of cafes and bakeries in the area where you can have a reasonable breakfast for about €6-8. The hotel is well placed for the city centre attractions, and it you choose wisely, you'll eat well in the city of an evening for €20-25 per person incl beer or a glass of wine. Parking will cost you €14 daily. The public outdoor pool and ice Rink are next door. Lovely walks along the Danube. We'd stay here again - but would pack a travel kettle.
