Nice hotel, good food, lovely location

We had a fantastic visit and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were really friendly and the hotel is in a great location for some fantastic walks.

Comfortable bed, good curtains

I asked about taking my key with me or not when I went out in the evening and the nice woman who carried my suitcase for me didn’t know the answer. It was lucky I did. Breakfast friendly but very slow. Cold toast.

The location and the age of the property are both really special

plug on bath needed repairing, and bathroom housed the wardrobe which was not very pleasant or convenient. Blown double glazing in bedroom and bathroom. Room not serviced on first day .

Very nice very clean room, excellent wifi. Lovely view from bedroom. Very quiet location. Excellent service. Very attentive and friendly staff. Exmoor is a great walking and mountain biking area. Whole inn is beautiful and very well cared for. On site parking. Food is lovely and very good value for money.

Cooked breakfast not being available until 0900hrs. Understand it is usually available from 0830hrs.

Such a nice quiet and friendly place The chef went out of their way and stayed longer to cook for our guests who had been delayed on the road
