We are family of 4 (with 2 small kids) really comfortable and clean accommodation. Easy to navigate to and from kyoto station(25 min) and tambaguchi station(10 min) bus(7min) is also available. Will definitely comeback if we ever go to Kyoto again. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, traditional Japanese house. It was an absolute pleasure. For a Japanese standard, the house felt incredibly spacious and provided a great deal of room to relax and enjoy the setting. The traditional architecture was charming and authentic, giving us a truly unique and memorable experience. The only point of clarity for future guests is regarding the second sleeping arrangement. While the house easily accommodates multiple people, the 'second bed' is actually a comfortable Japanese futon rather than a Western-style bed, and it is set up in the same room as the main bed. This was a small detail that wasn't entirely clear in the listing, but it didn't detract from our overall positive experience. We would absolutely recommend this lovely house to anyone looking for an authentic, spacious, and beautiful stay in Japan!

The house is situated somewhat outside of the main city area what makes it nice quiet. Getting into the center requires a regular bus ride, which consistently took us about 20 minutes one-way during low traffic periods.

Obiekt ma świetny klimat, można poczuć tradycję i kulturę japońską. W środku jest bardzo czysto, a personel bardzo dokładnie dba o to żeby było tak przez cały czas trwania pobytu :)

Zabrakło nam szafy, w której moglibyśmy przechowywać rzeczy. Przy tygodniowym pobycie trzymanie wszystkiego na podłodze było dość uciążliwe.

If you are interested in ryokan style accommodation, this is the right thing. The traditional japanese style houses are refurbished and well equiped.

The bathtub, that’s it.

Inconvenient in many ways. Overall not worth it! You can get a lot more for your money. You have to go to another location to get the keycard, check out and store bags, which is an inconvenience. Only one pillow, blinds let light in so quality of sleep will be affected. If you're over 6ft you'll barely fit on the toilet. There's so many good accommodations (we loved our first hotel) in Kyoto, and for the price, this one isnt it.

The whole house was tidy. Beautiful private onsen as well as good air conditioning.

The room for the toilet was incredibly small.
