The rooms.

Left my dental device in my room, drove 125 miles away and had to provide a paid mailing label in order for the manager to return it to my home. Two weeks later it arrived.

"It's a nice stay..."

The hotel is nice. Better than most in the surrounding area (believe me, we have tried them all) We have stayed here multiple times. I think its getting a little worn down and the employees are not as good as in the past but overall, its a comfortable stay. More expensive than surrounding hotels because in the beginning they were the best place to stay but they are slowly becoming mediocre as compared to the price. Still, the only place I will stay at in Altoona. If you dont need to travel to Illinois and don't care to be close to a casino... I would definitely stay in Des Moines. For the price, you could be at the Four Seasons lol...
