La Quinta by Wyndham Altoona Des Moines

I had a wonderful stay at La Quinta! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was polite, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location was also excellent—close to everything I needed. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Loved free laundry on site! We were there for 4 nights/5 days. Front desk staff was always very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had great options. Our room was never touched by housekeeping. We had to set our trash outside of our room just to be picked up. Front desk even left a note for them and they did not clean when asked. Pool was small but the kids enjoyed it.

Only thing we didn't care for was the small indoor pool and it was very overchlorinated.

Very nice property with spacious rooms. Our only complaint was undercooked items at breakfast. I recommend staying on the top floor to avoid foot traffic noise from above.

Easy to get to.

Not impressed by the soap scummed shampoo bottle.

They gave us a room with people already in it. When we got another room it smelled like stayal smoke the shower had black mold in it
