Es algo más pequeño de lo que parece en las imágenes. Para 4 personas es pequeño. Para una pareja perfecto. Al ser una isla volcánica, el agua caliente huele un poco a azufre.

Great location. Free all day parking was literally a block or two away.

Wifi went out. Luckily we had plenty of data and were out most of the time. They were very attentive toward this issue. No idea if it was fixed because we went out. Guessing it was.

The location is excellent, and the communication with the host was quick and polite. Unfortunately, this apartment fell way below our expectations. We stayed here for 6 days, and it was a very frustrating experience. I do not recommend it at all, especially if you are traveling with children or for a long stay. If you only need it for one single night because you have no other choice, it might do, but nothing more.

Here are the main issues (I have uploaded photos of everything): Poor cleanliness and maintenance: As soon as we arrived, we found the apartment dusty and dirty. The ceiling corners were black, and the shower curtain was old and yellow at the bottom. The place gives off a strong impression of neglect. The bathroom: The shower is not shown in the official photos, and it is in urgent need of renovation. Furthermore, there is a severe issue with the drains. As soon as you turn on any tap, a horrible, persistent smell appears. My children literally had to shower while holding their noses. It is not pleasant to return from a long day of sightseeing to a bathroom that smells this bad. Lack of basic amenities: There is no proper broom, only a dustpan with a mini-brush. Since the apartment was already dirty upon arrival, it was impossible to keep it clean during a 6-day stay. There were no napkins, no laundry detergent, and not even salt for cooking (we actually left a container of salt and some coffee for the next guests). Laundry issues: There is no dryer. Because of this, our clothes took three days to dry and ended up smelling terribly of dampness/humidity. SERIOUS SECURITY CONCERN: The most worrying part is that the apartment can be accessed from the outside through a back door that has no lock installed. Anyone can walk straight in from the street. We found this absolutely astonishing and a complete lack of safety and privacy, which is especially scary when traveling with kids. We have stayed in other accommodations in Iceland within the exact same price range, and their standards were infinitely higher. This apartment is in urgent need of a deep clean and renovation. Given the high price charged, the quality simply does not match what a guest reasonably expects. It is definitely not worth the money.

The location was great, just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the beautiful church. The bed was very comfortable. Nice yard view from the bedroom window, also featuring a small deck (I did not use the deck because of the weather). The floors were nice and warm.

The shower should be updated— the bottom tub portion was stained, tiles were broken. The bathroom towels were threadbare, but clean. The apartment was as shown in the pictures, but not worth the cost— I chose this place thinking that the extra cost (it was more expensive than places my friends were staying at) would mean a nicer place.
