The Lodge at West River

The owners were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful when it came to learning the area! Room was incredible! Very quiet, clean, and happy place! Will definitely be coming back!

David and Oliver were super friendly and accommodating. Whenever we needed any extra pillows or even a wine opener, they were there to solve our issue. The rooms were clean and updated. The breakfast spread was awesome and different each day. All locally grown fruits and breads! Great location to a bunch of great places to eat and close to the Mountain. Our family had such a great time and will definitely be back again!

Great little place near our favorite ski areas. Clean, comfortable, nice food treats. Complimentary continental breakfast (get there early for the best treats).

This was the perfect place for us as a base for skiing. No frills, but very clean and the people were so friendly. Decent breakfast (waffles, breakfast bars, fruit, and coffee).

The Motel is an old Motel that has had a few upgrades. It is very clean, owners are very friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was good. Staff provided list of dining options in area, however, the hours of establishments were limited or only open on weekends. Had only one option for a Monday night.

The staff was extremely kind. We didn’t need much except a comfy room that was in an ideal location for our needs. And it was that and a lot more! Check in and out was simple and easy. We were stuck in traffic due to an accident and thought we would miss check in. But we were rest assured we could arrive when we arrived - no worries at all. The room was really nice, comfy bed, great amenities. Everything was very clean. Parking area was safe and clean with all the snow. Very happy with our choice of staying there for 2 nights. I would definitely stay there again!

Affordable rates, staff was nice and attentive

Was in a car accident heading towards the hotel. The personnel could not have been any more accomodating and generous in helping us get situated without our belongings and even driving us to go get something to eat. I am so grateful they helped us get through a pretty sticky and inconvenient situation. Abd you can tell it wasnt just an exception. Their hospital clearly showed to be the standard service. Would definitely go back.

This gem is a location I will revisit. Located in such a senic area close to VT Route 100. The proprietors have really put every effort into creating the best of a mom and pop beautiful location. I loved so many things from the natural wood headboards, and mirror frames, to the exemplary cleanliness and thoughtful touches like microwave popcorn in the room. They are kind felliws running a charming lodge. It's a win.
