Thingholt Apartments

It was a pretty space with plenty of room. If I had needed reading material there was a great selection to choose from. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

Luckily it was cool, but we still needed to open the windows for some cool fresh air and there was noise from the street (people chatting on their way home from work/bars and cars) so we had to close them to the front bedroom.

The location was great. There was ample parking. Please note that parking is paid through an app. It is a cozy little basement apartment. Walking distance/easy access to the downtown area.

When we stayed at this location, there was a large well-rounded library but no television.

Incredibly professional people, apartment was fantastic, location was superb and quiet, the best place I've ever stayed in Reykjavik! A perfect place to relax and enjoy. Luckily got street parking right out front. Thank you!!

I am most grateful for the washer/dryer machine. Did a small load of laundry every night. The kitchenette was small but functional

The twin beds need to be replaced. Very uncomfortable. The kitchen chairs also were very uncomfortable. The back supporting pillows for the sofa were stinky. They need to be thrown out. Overall, the place was uncomfortable. Not the bed, kitchen chairs or the sofa. The management staff was shady. Wanted more money for early checkin, which i have no problem of paying, they send me an invoice and want me to approve to pay the entire bill twice (the entire stay was prepaid). I hope this was a language barrier, but the person i communicated with was definitely fishing for more money. The floor creaked so loud that woke up my husband in the middle of night when i go to use the bathroom

Great location and the space felt cozy. I liked looking through the collection of books and rocks.

Overall it was great location and nice apartment.

The apartment had a lingering fishy smell.

It really felt like somebody’s home, not a rental appartment. Great location, cosy atmosphere
