Motel Happy Salmon

This is a charming little motel just off the hwy. I had a room in the back, so it was really quiet and I did not hear any highway noise. It is all redone in the insides of the suite and very very clean. Don't let the outside discourage you. Owner was really nice. I will definitely stay at this motel again in the future.

To close to the highway and the property is very old , but the price is okay.

Didn’t end up staying in room as it does not allow pets. The parking areas are not big vehicle friendly otherwise the property is clean looking!

Simple, clean, bright, comfortable, quaint. Budget friendly

This is a side of the road motel, which is fine if that is what you are looking for. It was clean and the rooms were big. However you can’t open the windows and the air conditioning is so so noisy so it feels really overbearing to sleep there.

Pros: Right by Hwy 1, easy access/parking. I think the owner served us at the desk & was thorough & very nice. The older motel has been updated, particularly the bathroom. Cons:We were asked not to use the room's kitchen; not sure why as no breakfast offered here. The bed was small, matress seemed older & a lot of bounce when anyone rolled over during the night. Not the best sleep. I'm not sure how this property had the high ratings it did on expedia, which was why I chose it. Overall, a one night stop on a road trip was adequate, but not great.

Room was very clean with new flooring and shower/tub tiles. A/C unit didn’t work very well but overall good value for the money.
