Extended Stay America Suites - Kansas City - South

I called in advance after booking my room and was told by the facility that my room would still be available. I was driving in from St. Louis and hit traffic on the way into KC. Prior to my arrival they gave my room away even though I booked it in advance. Completely unprofessional!

Most uncomfortable bed ever. Sour smell permeated the building. Overall lack of maintenance alarming (toilet wasn’t bolted to the floor!). Left one night early to go to different lodging even without a refund.

Desk staff was wonderful!

It was fine. Nothing special literally, breakfast was super bare minimum. However, the staff that checked us in and out was great!

A lot of smoke smell inside room and outside. Always noice from other rooms and outside as well . Looks even parking area is not safe to go . People are stare it’s not good for me . Breakfast did not like coffee and other

Floor in lobby and area leading to elevator was dirty. Lobby area had a smokey odor. Hallways not pleasant odor. Bathroom floor vinyl was curling up away from tub. Kitchenette faucet was a bit loose. Shower had some soap scum on wall.

Easy to get to

The hallways were dirty, elevator smelled like owe, there were people hanging out in the lobby, hallways and parking lot. There are bullet holes in the windows, the room was stuffy and hot. The window had bars over it and there is only one way in and out.

Very noisy at night, could always hear loud music coming from other rooms.
